2019 RAM 1500 to Debut at Detroit Auto Show

Each year, our brands release many new and impressive models for customers to enjoy. Whether you’re in the market for a car, truck, SUV, or minivan, Jerry for the People serving the Honolulu area can help you find a great fit. Today, we’d like to talk about one particular upcoming model due to debut at the beginning of 2018.

The RAM 1500 has been a truck-lover’s top pick for years and that’s certainly not going to change with the 2019 model year. Said to be appearing in the 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, MI, in January, the 2019 RAM 1500 is building upon a long legacy of great pickup trucks.

According to trucks.com, the design of the 2019 RAM 1500 is complete, with prototypes undergoing testing currently. A few photos of this model have even been snapped on the road, revealing extra cabin and cargo space thanks to a larger wheelbase. The truck is also expected to have improved fuel efficiency and an interior upgrade, especially on the higher trim levels. This will include the latest UConnect® infotainment system like that found in the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica.

The new truck is also expected to offer a split tailgate option and significant lighting changes with thin LED strips in the headlight housing. As the third-best selling vehicle overall in the US, we have no doubts the new RAM 1500 will be successful. Its current model has already been sold more than 250,000 in the first six-months of this year, afterall.
